FLOYDS KNOBS, Ind. — On February 24, 2026, Highland Hills Middle School hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of its newly renovated Natatorium, marking a significant investment in student athletics and community facilities.
AML Construction partnered with CORE Construction to transform the aging aquatic space into a modern facility designed for performance, safety, and long-term durability. AML CEO Bobby Libs joined school leaders and community members at the ceremony and was among the featured speakers recognizing the collaborative effort behind the project.
The comprehensive renovation included replacement of the pool liner and mechanical equipment, installation of new diving boards and starting platforms, construction of a new timing booth with upgraded timing systems, new ceilings and flooring, interior repainting, and the addition of new grandstand bleachers. The project also introduced updated lighting and HVAC systems to enhance energy efficiency and comfort for athletes and spectators.
To complete the transformation, AML delivered refreshed graphics and branding for the Floyd Central High School and Highland Hills Middle School swim teams, aligning the facility’s new look with the pride and competitive spirit of both programs.
The revitalized Natatorium will continue serving as a hub for practices, competitions, and student achievement for years to come.
